Word Quest — 6-Letter Word Puzzle, Unlimited Play
Word Quest is a 6-letter word guessing game inspired by Wordle but with unlimited play. Crack the daily word for ranking points or play endless freeplay rounds.
How to play Word Quest
- Start a round. A random 6-letter word is selected. Type any valid 6-letter English word as your guess.
- Read color hints. Green = right letter, right spot. Yellow = right letter, wrong spot. Gray = letter is not in the word.
- Plan opening words. Open with vowel-heavy words like ADIEUS or AROUSE to eliminate letters quickly.
- Solve in six. Use the feedback grid and on-screen keyboard to deduce the answer within 6 tries.
- Share your result. Generate a shareable card showing your guess pattern without revealing the word.

Frequently asked questions

- Is Word Quest free?
- Yes. There are no ads, no subscriptions, and no payment required to play.
- How is Word Quest different from Wordle?
- It uses six letters instead of five, ships unlimited puzzles, and adds a WQR ranking system plus shareable replays.
- What is WQR?
- Word Quest Rating — an Elo-style score that goes up when you solve fast in few guesses and down when you run out of tries.
- Does the game work offline?
- Freeplay rounds work offline thanks to the installable PWA. The daily challenge needs a connection to sync your score.
